We’re committed to openness and transparency across the Trust
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives you the right to ask any public sector organisation for information they hold, which includes the NEAS Trust. Anyone can ask for information.
We believe in openness and transparency, and we welcome such requests.
How to submit a request
If you have a Freedom of Information request, please contact publicrelations
We will always aim to respond within 20 working days.
When we may not respond to a request
If the number of hours required to obtain and provide information under the Freedom of Information Act exceeds the £450 threshold (of £25 per hour - set in the Freedom of Information and Data Protection [Appropriate Limit and Fees] Regulations 2004), the Trust is not obliged to comply with the request.
However, we will offer advice and assistance under Section 16 and discuss with you the possibility of refining the request, so that it takes us less time to respond in full.
